
Douglas S. de Heras received his undergraduate degree from UCLA in 1992,
where he was a member of the UCLA Bruins golf team. Doug received his law
degree from USC in 1996. He is a member of the California State Bar and is
admitted to practice in several United States District Courts in California
and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Doug is a
member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Association of
Southern California Defense Counsel.
Doug represents a wide range of clients in all aspects of complex
litigation, including trial with emphasis on general and professional
liability matters involving nursing homes, healthcare providers and
physicians, premises, products, and transportation. He also has extensive
experience in insurance matters, contractual matters, real estate and
commercial matters, trusts and probate, and business litigation. Doug has
tried multiple trials and binding arbitrations to verdict with favorable
results for his clients.
He is active in his community including the Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Greater Los Angeles.
