
Thomas A. Steig is a partner in the San Francisco office of Prindle,
Decker & Amaro. Mr. Steig's practice is focused on the defense of toxic
tort claims, primarily cases involving asbestos exposure. Mr. Steig joined
Prindle, Decker & Amaro in 1994 after collaborating with Kenneth Prindle
and Andy Goetz on the defense of numerous asbestos personal injury claims
venued in Southern California. In addition to asbestos litigation, Mr.
Steig has handled other toxic tort claims involving latex gloves as well as
general tort liability defense cases.
Mr. Steig graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in
1981 with a bachelors degree in Political Science. He received his juris
doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law,
in 1985. He is a member of the San Francisco County Bar Association, the
Defense Research Institute and the Association of Defense Counsel for
Northern California.
